Since 2008, we’ve celebrated alongside 110 students as they received their high school diplomas – most the first in their families to earn one. This incredible success is creating demand for a new program - one to assist with access to post-secondary education.
Navigating college can be daunting challenge when you’re the first in your family to attend. Completing applications & financial forms, determining testing requirements, getting advice on classes to take, this is all new to our graduates and most of their families.
To meet their needs, the Mission provides quarterly meetings for freshmen and sophomores to assist in learning about campus resources, class selection and scheduling, reading syllabi, financial assistance, etc.
