The Sandy Springs Mission is creating opportunities for at-risk* children to succeed in academics and in life! Would you like to help?
Each year, the Mission receives an overwhelming number of referrals from High Point, Lake Forrest and Ridgeview schools. However, funding has been a challenge in today's economic climate. We need your help.
Our annual operating budget is only $137,500. On this tiny budget, we are able to deliver critical academic enrichment programs to more than 140 at-risk* children from the Sandy Springs community.
How do we do it on such a tight budget? We've been careful stewards of our funds and have actively secured a variety of in-kind donations to greatly reduce our operating costs. Our overhead has been greatly reduced after securing rent-free facilities at Mount Vernon Baptist Church and The Episcopal Church of the Atonement. Additionally, Publix Supermarket on Abernathy Road and Atlanta Specialty Produce are providing fresh fruit, bread, drinks and more for afternoon snacks.
The Mission relies on the generous donations of individuals, corporations, churches and civic organizations. We are a 501 (c) (3) organization meaning your contributions are tax deductible.
